My card is crying...

This photo officially shows that my spending has gone crazy!
This is the collection of things that I have bought over the past 2 DAYS! Yes fair enough, the first 4 to the left came with discount, but I still feel that my card should be taken away.

I went to a store that was closing down today called 'D2' and picked up this cute little blouse for £3 and although its in two sizes to big for me, once its on with a waist belt it looks cute. Added with a simple cardigan or blazer and jeans.

Now as many of you may know, I work for Topshop but it is a concession within Debenhams Department Store, so therefore I also get to take advantage of 10% off of their stock...Over the past few weeks there has been a 'buy one get one free' sale offer going on and I have never had the time to look, and on my day off when I needed to pop in anyway,
I thought I would look!

This top was priced at £12.50 and I love it because of the embellishment on the shoulders and the puffed out shoulder pads in the sleeves of the shoulders. I also thought that the low V of the top was quite interesting, and I am going to wear this out tomorrow night with a black bodycon skirt :)
Pictures will come!

So as the deal says, I must get one free...
And this is wear the fun comes in...When I tried it on when I got back...it did not suit me at all! I dont think red is my colour...
SO GIVEAWAY...
If anyone wants to have this size 10 + Redherring for Debenhams top, originally priced at £22, and obviously I got it free...then simply tell me why you think you deserve to win, become a follower if you aren't already and I will pick a winner this time next week. Now I know this isn't particularly interesting to everyone but I dont see the point in this top just being left unworn! Im sure someone will be able to find it a lovely home :) And also I will add in some other goodies that I will pick up in the shops no doubt this week :)

The top is slightly rouched at the bottom as you can see in the picture to the left, and has a round neck line of embellishment. Hope you all like :)
So that you all know, I will be posting the same comment on everyone's blogs to tell them about the giveaway, Its not that I dont love each and everyone of you, but I want this top to have a good home :) And also I dont want to be a hypocrite as I dont like the same comments being posted around of everyones blogs! And I must apologise for my crap commenting on peoples blogs and replying to people. I had a pretty perfect and relaxing weekend and I really needed it so I assure you, I will reply!

Money Money Money

So today, I FINALLY got my uniform :) And if I am completely honest then I will happily say that I love it all :) In the end I got the Ruffle Hem top - £32. Frill Wrap Top - £45. GORGEOUS Hareem pants - £38 which are shown below but they are actually way nicer, they have a thinner crotch and two gold zips on either side of the hips. I LOVE THEM <3 Pictures will come when I wear them. Then as shown below, without my 60% discount I bought the light wash jeggins - £22.

Now I know this will make all you Topshop fans cry with jealousy, but instead of this collection of 4 items costing £137.00, this actually ended up costing a simple £65.80!!! :)
I got the three main items with 60% off and the blue jeggins for 10% off.

Also take a look at this ASOS dress on this link.
£25 - Perfect for my ASOS gift voucher which I STILL havent spent yet that I won on a blogger giveaway!
Perfect for summer...oui or non?? :)

Kelly Osbourne

Firstly PLEASE  take a look at Tessa Rose's blog at
http://whatwasfoundthere.blogspot.com/.
She is a uni student in Nottingham and a family friend of mine.
She does great fashion outfit posts and designer reviews :)
DO take a look and become a devoted follower like myself :)

Kelly Osbourne, aged 25 and 5 ft 2.

She has not had a good past due to her three times in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction. But after a few years of random diets and failing, she decided to go through the normal way of just having portion control and exercise and she lost an amazing 42 pounds! I admire her so much!

Kelly has always tried to be completely honest in my opinion, and I love how honest she was about her insecurities about her weight when she hit 160 pounds! She was miserable and needed to do something about it so she did! Unlike other people who just sit around complaining about it!

And due to her family being known for their crazy lives filled with drugs and rock and roll, she actually got more publicity for being fat then for being high as it may have sort of been seen as a normal thing!

"I took more hell for being fat than I did for being an absolute raging drug addict. I will never understand that."

She looks gorgeous in my opinion, and I really hope she keeps the weight of as she said that she feels so good not hating looking in the mirror every day...if only it was this simple for everyone!
Some people may say that she looks a bit stereotypical hollywood, but if she is happy this way then thats all that matters :) Even if she puts on a few more pounds, she will be still look gorgeous!

Wishing happiness on everyone today :) Had a pretty good day! But got a lot of coursework in for tomorrow :) Listening to Capital FM Radio

Home Sweet Home

So as you all may know now, I work in Topshop so the other day at work I took some pictures so that I could welcome you into the world of Topshop Debenhams Cambridge :)
I love my job, its fun and I also rewarding when you successfully make someone feel happy about themselves in an outfit that I know they will feel confident in on a night out. And in a way I suppose that is what blogging is about too, giving people tips and making each other feel good about their style whether it is by following trends or following your imagination. So this small post is a simple one to thank all my followers, new and old and also say thank you to all of you who have helped me develop my fashion style and also thank everyone for having the confidence in themselves to do blogging! People that dont do it and are mean about it just simply dont know what they're missing :)

Spring/Summer Uniform

Firstly, I hope you aren't all confused about the new header, I decided that my one from beforehand was a bit basic and I love curly writing so Microsoft Word came in very handy today :)
Right, as I work for Topshop we are allowed 60% off of a certain amount of items of clothing from within your own store depending on your hours. I work 5.5 contracted hours but very often do more then that but because of this contract, I am allowed three items. Which to me, an impoverish student, is perfectly fine :)
So at work today on my break, as I was not at all hungry, I thought I would try on some options for my uniform and I want to get all of your opinions or at least whoever is reading!
Plain Pleat Dress Price: £38.00 Colour: Navy Blue
With Topshop £16 Flower Necklace
Ha! to mother posing behind :)

Bleach Washed Denim Leggings Price:£22.00 Colour: Denim
With the Flower Necklace Again
And Ruffle Hem Vest Price:£32.00 Colour:Mint

The top above is in a sort of green/mint colour that you cant see very well in the picture. I thought that it looked nice with or without a waist belt, but I love the long necklace with it.

Also bought the
POCKET TUNIC Price: £16.00 Colour: Flamingo but dont know if I want to take it back as it isn't really the weather for a thing like this...what do you think?? Dont have a picture with it on as its still in the bag! :)

Also before you leave...I have convinced a few friends to take up blogging...so if you have the time then please help them to start up their blogs by following them and I know that they will be really grateful!

Shopping Overboard :)

So I got a £25 gift voucher for ASOS online, and need some advice on what to get for my money :) I didnt know whether I wanted clothes, a bag, shoes or accessories...but thats what you lot are for :) With the tops, Im trying to stick to the general colours that are meant to be coming in over Spring/Summer so nudes and pale colours...now they may not all seem pale on the models, but on me the case is different!
ASOS Cornelli Trim Top - ASOS Crochet Trim Top

ASOS Ruffle Back Vest Top - ASOS Longline Lace Trim Sweat Top
ASOS FREDDY Leather Knot Front Sandal

ASOS Envelope Slouch Double Chain Bag in the style of Jessica Parker

What do you all think?? Opinions would be great!
This is just a small sample of things that stood out to me :)

Also LOVING Natalia Vodianova right now. Especially since she appeared on Jonathon Ross  on friday night. She is an amazing mother by the sounds of it and she manages to care for everyone around her whilst being a super model and style icon.
The 28 year old has had three children and still has a stunning body.
How does being a model affect your style?
"Being a model created my style. I wasn’t aware of fashion before I started working, so my inspiration comes from the clothes I’ve worn and people I’ve met"- Love this :)

New Blogger Review Award

FIRSTLY I must say a massive YAY to my 101 followers :)
YES I hit the big three figured numbers :)
Welcome All! Hope you enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy doing it :)
So in a way to welcome everyone, I have made an award for one of my followers who are new to me, who I would recommend to others to have a look at :) I got this idea from Sarah when I was reading her New Blogger Alert Post...take a look...

I am giving my New Blogger Review Award to a blog named Heart Shaped Box at http://stemstemelectro.blogspot.com/ . She has been blogging since March 2009, has 12 followers and I personally love her blog <3

She has a nice blend of designer admiration and also the factors that make up her own look through great purchases and future must have buys. She shows us the great editorials that she loves from magazines and amazing shots from some gorgeous photographers work. Definitely recommend that you take a look and boost her blog name over the net :)

The rules are that if you receive this award, like any other, you must pass it on to someone else. Before you tell them, you must write your own little review of the person who gave you the award and then a review on their blog so that other people can get an idea of what they would be looking at and hopefully feel like following afterwards. If I got this award I would love it because its always nice to hear why others like what you do and its also a confidence booster for new or small bloggers. Ha im feeling all happy now Ive hit 100 followers :)

This is my outfit from last night when I went out in Newmarket with my amazing friend Sarah. Lets just say we got a little worse for wear, but we both needed it! Sarah got dumped on Valentines day and my relationship is a bit not happening at the moment, but hopefully everything will turn out okay :) So anyway, the top is the NEW £6 top from Primark that I said I would show you all...matched with a black bodycon from Topshop and Sarah's Topshop waist belt. You cant see but I wore my lovely birthday heels from Faith and I was so worried about ruining whilst in a drunken state them but turns out everything was okay with the shoes and with myself! :)

Nottingham shops ate my money :)

Today I went to Nottingham to have a look at the University and see what the Business course is like there! Overall, it was pretty nice! Not as nice as my first option University of East Anglia but I would be proud to put it down as my second choice :) Especially considering Ive only seen three :)

Anyway, after the student talks, class talks and tours around the campus, my mother and I popped downed the road into town to have a look at the shops.
I bought:
A gorgeous beige trench coat with a waist tie from an unknown shop called 20 One for £20. A Topshop orange summer dress for £16 - but I may take it back :) And then hit Primark where I bought a cute grey blazer for £13. A white and red stripe stretch top (to fit with the blazer) for £4. A grey and white stripe top for £2. And finally a black with coloured floral patterned top with a tie up back for £6.

Pictures will come soon :)

So finally I must comment on the Brit Awards 2010
OF COURSE!
Lady Gaga hit the red carpet in a traditional Gaga outfit, which I personally think looked better than most of her other ones, especially in comparison to her toilet role outfit last year! This white gown that later broke down into a tiny body suit with lace and glitter covered all over it ticked all the bizarre boxes in which lady gaga would hope to tick. The head piece just added to the look and elongated Gaga's petite frame and half covered her face which in some ways was a good thing when she was crying after receiving her many awards...completely deserved in my opinion!!!

Gwen Stefani Autumn/Winter Collection

Firstly please take a look at my lovely best friend Shaun's new blog :) Im converting everyone!

Now i've always loved Gwen, her music and even back in the day when she was not seen as a fashion icon!  So when I heard that her newest collection had just been shown, I had to take a look!

This is my favourite item from the Autumn/Winter collection. Love the layers and the great belts in the middle :) Also the high over the knee boots are gorgeous! Especially with the buckles! :) Hope you like!

Now these shoes below belong to one of my friends from college. She got them from Schuh from a brand called 'Irregular choice' - take a look at their gorgeous collection here...
http://www.irregularchoice.com/?stop=true
These are grey with gorgeous little roses on the side, they have stunning detail on the side as you can see below and I am totally jealous!

Here's my outfit from saturday at work:
I began with...Topshop purple long sleeve stretch jersey
then added my new lace insert tiered shell cream top with tights and decided to jazz it up a bit and go with the trend by adding some short black socks with my black pumps...maybe trying to look a little like Hannah Rose from london--rose.blogspot.com me thinks?? :) Of course I got a crazy amount of stares due to everyone else being completely wrapped up with loads of layers as I strolled along like this with a blazer over the top :)

And finally, I know ive been rubbish this week but Ive been pretty ill and was at the hospital today! But yesterday made me better when my lovely boyfriend cooked me dinner, stayed over and got me this gorgeous Rose :) Although the picture isn't very good, I still love it <3

One Hundredth Post :)

ALEXA MULBERRY
Even the most stylish of companies can do something wrong...
My influence today comes from Londoner Carrie from wishwishwish.net.
The Alexa costs the amazing £795!
And is named after the most recent style icon of the last year Alexa Chung.
And is part of the Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
Mulberry began in the 1970's and is influenced by the British countryside,
so therefore when I saw this Alexa in the style named
'Peony Pink Shiny Leopard'
I was shocked and to be honest felt a little sick too.
If Mulberry is so influenced by the countryside and Alexa Chung
then how on earth did they come up with such a monstrosity??
It looks like the kind of thing that a prostitute would be given
by a high class investment banker
because this style is all he thinks of her
and because this name is all that his wife mentioned to her over the years,
he thought this would be perfect.
I would go more for the classic look such as the...
Bayswater Chocolate Natural Leather - £595

Or the Daria Clutch Ink Blue Soft Spongy Leather - £325

Also loving Boohoo Online
Ollie Floral Bustier Studded Trim Dress - £20
