baby's got her blue jeans on!

This is what I wore this weekend on a wee trip down the ‘flicks’ to see Breaking Dawn, which I must say is freaking amazing! I have accidentally fallen back in love with Edward Cullen again, and that movie completely rejuvenated my past love affair with Twilight, which had been diminishing slightly after reading the whole series five times!

Jeans - Primark, Jumper - H&M, Shirt - Primark

It was freezing on the day in question and this jumper from H&M, the snuggliest thing ever, just had to have a little trip out to see Bella&Co! My jeans are literally the best thing to come out of Primark; at only £9 they have survived multiple months without fading, stretching, or, god forbid; splitting! The fringe top, also a Primark bargain, actually has a picture of Mickey Mouse on it, which I am a little bit in love with, and I loveee mixing a bit of fringe and aztec pattern- match made in heaven!

Here's another outfit (from a while ago, bad blogger!) when Mickey got let loose full throttle:

That's enough outfit posts for one day from me, what did you think of Breaking Dawn?!

Lots of love from Hannah and Mickey ♥

Top, Belt, Tights & all Jewellery - Primark; Skirt & Jacket - H&M

This is another little outfit I wore out to dinner for a friend's birthday a few weeks ago, I am ever so slightly obsessed with this navy skirt from H&M; it just goes with everything!

The pictures above were taken by my big sister, in our little 'photoshoot' in which she got a little too keen and began attempting to take photos from above, below and just about everywhere else. My sister has abandoned me to go off on a 2 week holiday to Ayia Napa, so I am now an only child for the next 10 days. On the bright side I have full access to her closet while shes away, win!

Here's a little snap of my beautiful, big sister as punishment for her deserting me...

Isn't she a cutie? she's going to kill me...mwahaha.

In other news, who else is over excited about the new series of One Tree Hill... obsessed? Me? Definitely!

I've also been feeling lately that too many of my posts these days have my mug all over them; not to self- post less pictures of me haha!

prom night!

The apparent 'biggest day of a girl's life except her wedding day'; Prom, was last Thursday, and although I don't buy into the great importance of Prom, it was an exceptionally good night! I've never been one to gush and dream about Prom, so while all my friends had been envisaging their outfits since Year 7, I only really got excited a few weeks prior to the event. Although my expectations weren't that high considering it was organised by school, I was pleasantly surprised as the venue was absolutely bloody beautiful, and after a minor mishap with a very late limo driver, the night was amazing!

I absolutely fell in love with my dress and it was actually the first dress I tried on in a tiny boutique in London (can't remember it's name!) so I figured it was meant to be mine! I also used my Babyliss Curling Wand to create these curls and brushed them out a little before I left, pining up some of the hair at the back with the help of my trusty Got2B Powder'ful!

Of course I had an uber spray tan a couple days before to banish my pale skin, and although I felt a little blotchy and orange on the day I have completely fallen in love with being tan, and am now on the search for an amazing self tanner!

The night was filled with food, a million pictures, gushing over how beautiful everyone was and way too much dancing; lots of fist pumping, a la Jersey Shore!

With prom being over also brings with it the official end to Year 11, which makes me so sad! Some of the people in my year wont be returning to 6th form so a lot of people I might never see again! Its a scary feeling when you realise time is going past way too fast and we only have 2 years left of being at my school until I have to leave and fend for myself in the big wide world...

But anyway, Prom is over and it is officially Summer!

red indian.

Sheer Shirt- Primark; High Waisted Shorts- Topshop; Cardigan- Primark; All Jewellery- Primark; Hair Feathers- Primark; Lipstick- Sleek Peaches&Cream

I wore this little ensemble out to dinner for my friend's birthday last week, and it was dubbed my 'Red Indian' outfit by one friend because of the hair feathers... or to be a little more politically correct- Native American style! I actually adore this hair band with attached feathers on the ends; I think its so pretty and summery, and they seriously make me want to try out feather hair extensions!

Someone else commented that I had 'a zoo on my fingers' in the form of my lizard and snake rings: both from Primark, of course! There's something about animal jewellery that just draws me in, especially owl rings and necklaces- I have a whole collection of owl related items!

This week is basically 'Prom Coundown' week for me, with Prom being a week Thursday, and I am so excited! I'm hoping to pop into Mac at some point this week to pick up Face & Body foundation- I think it will look so nice for prom pictures- and I am still desperately in need of a bag!

Hope you all have a fantastic week! ♥

come on skinny love, what happened here?

Shorts: H&M, Cardigan: Primark, Shirt: Primark, Jewellery & Belt: Primark

♥ I wore this little outfit on a trip out to dinner with my family as an excuse to crack out these H&M shorts. I seriously love the pattern of these and how they are a bit more daring than I normally go for. Of course, the best part is that they look a little cow print-esque and cow things always seem to attract me... I may even have cow socks, cow pyjamas, and a cow bag, which I wore on a D of E hike and attracted rather a lot of unwanted attention from the resisdent cows in the area, opps.

♥ I only have 3 exams left- YESSSSSS! Finally, its almost over and all those months of blood sweat and tears (with a little revision thrown in) are almost over. I cannot wait to go out and celebrate and to be freeeeeeeeee!

♥ Is it just me, or is everyone's birthday in June!? I am completely skint from all the birthday pressies I have been buying recently, and am still on the hunt for a job, although I think I may actually be unemplyable haha!

♥ I'm currently obsessing over Skinny Love by Birdy, it is the most perfect song ever. The best thing about it in my opinion is that Skinny Love is a Vampire Diaries song, my absolute favourite programe in the world, ever... and I just discoved that Ed Sheeran covered it here, its ahh-mazing!

♥ If you haven't already, remember to enter my giveaway, it ends Sunday! :)

my weekend.

I've seen so many of these type of 'life' posts on so many other blogs (namely the lovely Laura's) so as I adore reading them I thought I'd have a go myself. Let me know if you would like to see more of these slightly more personal posts!

On Saturday I met up with an old friend for a jolly little shopping trip into town, and despite having no money I still managed to pick up some cheap goodies while having an amazing time with my friend. Its so lovely meeting up with people you haven't seen in months, but falling right back into being comfortable with each other straight away!

I picked up this gorgeous Aztec style jewellery from Primark which I could not wait to wear when the sun pops its head out again.

Snake Ring £2
Turquoise Bracelet £1.50
Necklace £2.50

While having a little snoop around Superdrug I just could not resist the 2 for £6 deal on Sleek Lipsticks. I picked up O.M.G (left) and Peaches&Cream (right) for the bargainous price and I could not be happier. They are the perfect bright, beautiful colours for Spring/Summer and have a lovely creamy consistency - win!

I also popped into LUSH, not intending to buy anything, but the lovely shop assistant gave me a free sample of Oatifix face mask, which is apparently good for dry skin. Previously I had not known they gave such generous samples- could that shop get any better!?

Here's a extremely attractive picture of me with Oatifix slathered all over my face. Although this looks reminiscent of if I had vomited all over my face, my skin actually felt lovely when this was washed off, so a possible future purchase for me!

On Sunday I visited my Aunt's house to celebrate Easter Sunday in style... with my crazy family. It was so pretty and sunny out I decided to crack out my new playsuit from H&M, which I love however has to be returned as it has a rip in the back! Sob, sob.

Summer's here in full force, and while wearing this outfit while prom shopping a few days ago I was forced to remove my tights I was so unbelievably hot, shock horror!

But really I'm loving the sudden visit from the sun and enjoying it while it lasts, because, as you know, England is renowned for not being exactly consistent in it's weather!

Sorry for the slightly strange angles in the pictures, I'm just getting used to doing outfit posts and finding the perfect position seems to be a massive task in my tiny little room!

Have an amazing Easter weekend my lovelies and don't eat too many eggs! :)

the big 16.

As some of you may know, my birthday was last Monday and ooh it feels good to finally be the big 1-6!!
On Saturday night I went out for a birthday meal to the restaurant Zizzi's, and boy, do they have good nosh! It was a great night, and two days later, my actual birthday was just as good with presents, more presents... and just a few more presents!
