come on skinny love, what happened here?

Shorts: H&M, Cardigan: Primark, Shirt: Primark, Jewellery & Belt: Primark

♥ I wore this little outfit on a trip out to dinner with my family as an excuse to crack out these H&M shorts. I seriously love the pattern of these and how they are a bit more daring than I normally go for. Of course, the best part is that they look a little cow print-esque and cow things always seem to attract me... I may even have cow socks, cow pyjamas, and a cow bag, which I wore on a D of E hike and attracted rather a lot of unwanted attention from the resisdent cows in the area, opps.

♥ I only have 3 exams left- YESSSSSS! Finally, its almost over and all those months of blood sweat and tears (with a little revision thrown in) are almost over. I cannot wait to go out and celebrate and to be freeeeeeeeee!

♥ Is it just me, or is everyone's birthday in June!? I am completely skint from all the birthday pressies I have been buying recently, and am still on the hunt for a job, although I think I may actually be unemplyable haha!

♥ I'm currently obsessing over Skinny Love by Birdy, it is the most perfect song ever. The best thing about it in my opinion is that Skinny Love is a Vampire Diaries song, my absolute favourite programe in the world, ever... and I just discoved that Ed Sheeran covered it here, its ahh-mazing!

♥ If you haven't already, remember to enter my giveaway, it ends Sunday! :)

here we are again.

♥ Its officially half term here in England (thank the lord!) and I'm well over half-way through my GCSE exams! With 13 down and just 7 to go (the easy ones, thank god!) summer is literally within touching distance and I cannot wait. The exams are completely draining my energy, so I'm extremely thankful for a week off just to relax before they start again, full force! Most of the exams have gone well generally, except for a disastrous English Language exam where the exam board forgot to write a question on Love Poetry, leaving my whole year completely screwed, having to write any old random crap on Environmental Poetry! Shame on you AQA!

♥ Speaking of summer fast approaching, I am in desperate need of a summer job! All those ice creams, trips to the beach and holiday shopping do not come cheap and I am determined to find a good job sharpish! My dream job at this age would be in Boots or Superdrug or even the BodyShop, simply because I could ogle the makeup all day long- my idea of heaven- however my only offers seem to be coming from a dry cleaners and a pub... and all at absolute rock bottom minimum wage! So I'm still on the hunt for a fun job which actually pays over £3.64 (which transpires into just pennies after bus fare and lunch deductions!)

♥ I feel like I haven't blogged in forever! Since the exams started I've felt guilty even just reading through a few other blogs but now I have a bit of free time on my hands I seem to have a million ideas for new posts, so prepare to be inundated with posts next week! Also a lot of my friends seem to be starting to read my blog, which I am surprisingly cool with, so if I know you- hiii!

♥ In other news, I've been featured over on Em's lovely blog here, check it out if ya want!

Currently obsessed with Adele- Turning Tables, anything Conor Maynard covers and Sophie's Blog!

lets get cracking!

Ring from New Look (poor owlie is missing an eye):

After a bit of a lack of inspiration- nail polish wise- lately, today out came my big box of nail polishes I own, ready for a rejuvenation. After chucking out countless bottles of nasty, dried up gunk that I previously kept only on the grounds of '.. but their pretty!', I came across an old favourite, Nails Inc London. This gorgeous mauvey-taupe is a perfect soft, almost-spring colour, however on its own I felt it need a little bit more umph.

So, being the sneaky little sister that I am, I brought my lovely big sis Barry M Cracked nail polish for her birthday this week, and after a little blackmailing (with chocolate, of course ;) she agreed to let me have a little play. I actually really like the effect of just using Cracked on the one finger, rather than a whole hand, and wow, is this nail polish something unique or what!?

This week is half term, meaning that I have a whole week off, away from school. Well that's what they say anyway, but it hasn't stopped them from piling on the work. Its scary how speedily this year is going by. Being in Year 11, I only have about 8 weeks left of normal school, eeekk! After summer I'll be returning to the 6th form, I feel like I'm growing up so fast- scary!

Anyway, that's enough of the rambles from me, have a good weekend my loves! :)

birthdays, skins & ombre hair ♥

♥ The last few weeks have been so freaking hectic. Although my mock GCSE exams are over (they went pretty well if you were wondering ;), I now have a pile of coursework and projects to complete over the next couple of weeks. It seems my school thinks that I don't need a break from work after exams, so please excuse my lack of posts for the time being... bad times.

♥ On a lighter note, my birthday is coming up- 7th February, hell yeah! :) I'm beyond excited for pressies, cake, dinner and parties, bring it on! :)

I miss them... :(

♥ I must confess I am a complete and utter TV-aholic. I watch everything. 90210, Vampire Diaries, Glee, Pretty Little Liars, Misfits... you name it, I watch it ;) One of my absolute favourites is Skins, however the new series (which started last Thursday) was such a disappointment compared to the older series'! I can't help missing the old cast just a little too much :( But of course the big news is the new series of US Skins, which I watched a bit of and my opinion is just... well.. mehh. Skins just doesn't seem right to me without Kaya Scodelario, Luke Pasqualino and their British accents, and it shocked me how tame it was compared to UK Skins, although there is already talk of it being cancelled. What do you think?!

♥ Lately I've been feeling a bit 'blahh' about my hair and after seeing so many beautiful pictures of celebrities with two tone hair, they have inspired me to want need ombre hair! However the only problem is that I am beyond terrified of ruining my ends and having to have it all cut off! Any of you ombre hair experienced ladies have any advise?

♥ I hope you liked this slightly different type of post. Sorry its a bit ramble-y and hap-hazard, but when in need of a rant, I blog :)
