Oasis launches its New Vintage Collection for Summer 2011. The collection takes inspiration from original ’50s vintage dresses and kitsch floral prints with the addition of a few modern day twists. The design team were fascinated by this year's biggest small-screen phenomenon and fashion sensation, Mad Men and strived to replicate the outfits from the ’50s era to rival them.
The capsule collection consists of 5 dresses and 8 accessories, all uniquely made to flatter curves and create a neat fifties silhouette, celebrating the female form. The collection offers a variety of shapes and styles suitable for every woman’s body including sweetheart necklines, nipped in waists and empire lines. Intricate detailing is also key to the range with sequin and bows adding a subtle touch of luxury. It’s the Oasis take on post-war vintage fashion, lovingly updated for the Oasis girl of 2011.
